The Progressive Process — Four Acts of an Eclectible
ACT I — The Origin
A single sheet. Paint, words, poems, recipes, spells. The handwriting doesn't have to be legible — it has to be true. This is where the magic is cast. The room, the light, the moment — all become part of the work.
ACT II — The Progression
The patterning. Rotating, repeating, twisting, multiplying. The origin dissolves into something larger — a wallpaper, a textile, a bomber jacket waiting to exist. This is where Amy disappears and the work takes over.
ACT III — The Eclectible
It lands in the world. On sticker paper wrapped around an object. Objects, interiors or apparel printed on demand. On a body. A sculptural collectible. A print. The spell, now yours.
ACT IV — Ex Situ
Fabric billowing in the wind on an ancient oak or overpass. On a ferry. On a fabulous human. The work alive in the wild. The spell, now free.
