Ex Situ

The opposite of "in situ" is "ex situ." While "in situ" refers to something in its original or natural position or location, "ex situ" means the opposite—it refers to something that has been removed, taken out of its original place, or relocated to a different environment or setting for various purposes.

Placing artworks EX SITU adds an element of temporary situational theater.
